Enlistment Programs: Which branch is the Best Choice For You?
 

Each branch of the military is different, but they often offer similar programs for soldiers to join. This can boost morale if it means joining with a buddy, or it can also increase enlistment when a bonus is offered. Here are some of the most common enlistment programs the military offers today, depending on the branch:

Delayed Entry:
A soldier can begin active duty up to one year after paperwork has gone through, and is usually used by High School Students.

Buddy Program:
Friends can join together, and can even go through basic training and job training together. In some cases, they may even be stationed on the same base.

Enlistment Bonus:
Enlisted soldiers can receive a bonus for signing up for certain jobs that are needed, or spot that need to be filled.

Works part time, on reserve duty but can also be called for more domestic issues like national emergencies or other military assistance

Active duty soldiers can receive cash bonuses if they stay in the service, especially if they fill much needed jobs.
