Have you always been interested in a career in the religious sector but never quite knew how to make it a reality? Are you interested in sailing all over the world while counseling marines on religious and personal issues? Do you want to learn how to provide religious education and support? If so, consider a career in the
Navy.
Learning to Serve in Many Different Ways
Upon joining the Navy, you’ll receive the training necessary to make you a world-class sailor. Once you’ve completed your training, you’ll then enter into more advanced training where you’ll learn to lead worship services, counsel sailors, give sermons, lead workshops and provide a comforting ear to sailors who may need it. You’ll then be placed aboard a ship or on land where you’ll put all you’ve learned into practice as a Navy Chaplain.

Your Service to the Navy is Also an Investment in Your Future
When you’re discharged from the
US Military, you’ll be ready to use what you’ve learned and apply it toward an associate’s or bachelor’s degree—you’ll receive credits for the time you spent training and serving. You can go to school to become a minister or rabbi or you can study another discipline altogether. Either way, you’ll already be a step ahead of the civilian students.
