Why You Should be a Mass Communications Specialist

The United States Navy is responsible for making sure that the Navy and all of the personnel; is properly represented to the world. This means controlling the information which is reported to the news broadcasts. There is also a focus placed on making sure that the troops will be able to receive information from back home as well as making sure that they will be able to receive entertainment in the form of music and movies.

Training for Your Career

When you are assigned to work in mass communications, you will go through an ‘A’ school so that you will learn everything which goes into broadcasts. You will also be trained so that you will understand how to control the equipment which makes these kinds of broadcasts possible. This kind of training will help you if you hope to have a future in mass communications in the civilian world as well.
